Sorry... no photos this week!

Thanks to Kath for these few lines.  I couldn't be at the meeting this week so I'm afraid there are no photos, but that doesn't mean there was no action.  The tables were back and after a spell of  cleaning, members were able to get down to some stitching.
Jan and two or three members spent the morning doing folded patchwork and were so engrossed in what they were doing, they didn't stop for refreshments.
I apologize for not welcoming our latest new group member last week, so welcome to Carol Warren.  Carol has been stitching for many years and is currently working on a quilt which she brought along to this weeks' meeting so that she could make use of the tables to layer up the quilt top, wadding and backing ready for quilting.  Kath introduced Carol to spray basting and Rozanne, who is our hand quilting diva, spent time with Carol, making suggestions and recommendations on how she could approach quilting the project.
Jenny has taken on the challenge of finishing off a friend's quilt, so brought along the quilt to seek advise on how she could proceed.  It was suggested the current border needed changing as it was too dark, so Jenny is now on a mission to find just the right fabric to complete the project.
Pam has almost finished her decorated christmas tree wall hanging, and had even managed to find some pretty lights to complement the embellishments.  I hope the girls will all bring their projects to the next meeting so photographs can be posted on the next blog post.
Finally for this post, Jill updated fellow members on Helen and Chris' progress, we are all sending  positive thoughts and good wishes to you both Helen.  Hang in there!
