Well Ladies, what a busy day it was - busy on lots of fronts!! Approximately thirty members came to the group meeting.
Many of those selling did well.
There was also a buzz around the library boxes that Jenny brings down to the group at least every two weeks - thanks Jenny - if you wish to take a book home don't forget to book it out and please refer back to Rachel's email re missing books - maybe one of them is lurking on your shelf somewhere? as with all good libraries there is an amnesty on!!
Everybody was busy, busy at the workshop with Christine showing class members a Bargello technique - I really wish I had doen the class but I think that Christine will be running it again. Below are some of the fabric combinations chosen and some of the class participants in action.

Some members shared the progress of their projects and others shared their completed projects (Lesley, what time did you say you finished your cushion cover? the early hours of the morning after Jan's class??! Well done - I really admire completer/finishers).

Well, ladies - some of you will already know that I am in the UK looking at properties with the intention of buying - all has gone well and I am now packing up the bungalow in Driffield, East Yorkshire. For those of you who know the North West, I am going to be living within ten minutes of Skipton and also within ten minutes of Embsay!!!! Lots of lovely fabrics to be had!!! Been shopping already!! Happy stitching, see you a week on Tuesday.
Helen xx
Helen what a surprise I got when I opened the blog this morning, ready to update last Tuesday's photos! Thankyou for updating this from far away! I am woefully late, blame the cold I came back with! I'm looking forward to seeing all the work up close at our next meeting. Thanks for keeping things going for us while I was away. Rachel
